NYFW: LULU FROST

Amongst a wave of RTW previews and parties, Lulu Frost stood out with its sparkling jewelry presentation of the FW16 collection, Frequency, held at the Highline Loft yesterday morning. Inspired by the vastness of outer space and the expansive power of human thought, designer Lisa Salzer references a trio of eras - victorian, deco, the 1960's - in her luxurious geometric, starry silhouettes. Grand takeaways? Crowns are in; Your earrings should be asymmetrical (one long and tassley, the other short and bold); And tights need rocks, particularly in the form of swirling sapphire, opal, and labradorite gems.
